Default 12 cell brushless evader

Hey everybody! I plan on getting a prebuilt evader soon and am also getting a brushless system. I will running the truck on 12 cells thanks to my dreadnaught 3000's. I will also put my striker 2 on road tires on it and hopefully get venom speed reader. My question is, what is the most powerful brushless system I can buy for under $250? I cant wait to get some replys so i can hurry up and order this stuff!

Go to http://www.rc-monster.com and get a bk 7018 controller and get the Feigao brushless motor. With shipping it only cost $220.00 (Just got it for my brother-inlaw yesterday ) . I also just gave my little brother a brushless evader(with a shultze u-force 75 esc and with a hacker c-40 8s motor) The only thing is that you need (MUST) to do is make the tranny all metal. Give us your speed and set up when its done we would love to know how fast you can get it.

you wont get it done with the warroir if you try and run the 6s motor. i already have been down that road with Mike. you can only safely run the 8s with that warrior and then you are pushing it to run more than 8-10 cells.

you can get the novak ss5800 system off ebay brand new or used anywhere from 120-220 bucks. what money you save is gonne have to spent on the tranny bro, alum idler b2 nylon differential with carbide balls and the bearings to go with, that evaders gonna fly man

By the way on 12 cells your going to want to go with a lower kv rated motor. Like the lehner 3100 or something. The BK Warrior also doesn't have very effective BEC and tends to cogg more than the MGM series.

Default RE: 12 cell brushless evader

yea, but thats a 2800!.

unless ur gonna get 12 cells right away thats not gonna be 2 fast

on 12 cells u'll get 33,600+/- some rpms!... thats not 2 good

on 6 cells u'll get 20,150 MAX! thats really crap![X(]

my 14x3 on 6 cells max pulled 37,880 rpms![X(]

unless u gear it way up, u'll get no speed, and ur gonna lose some rpms thru the tranny... so its gonna be even lower!, y don't u jus wait and getta good bl set-up... like 5300 xl on 12 cells
