RE: Tamiya F-150
I just picked one of these up..........It's one sweet truck! I have wanted one for a longtime and finally found a great deal on ebay. I always liked the looks of it being styled after a real trophy truck. I am running the stock motor, GP3300 with an ESC and full bearings. My only other speed mod will be a better motor. I will be building a tube front bumper with lights and a skidplate for even more realistic detail......ill post some pics when im done.

RE: Tamiya F-150
I dont know the specs on the ESC....it is what came with the truck and was a stock upgrade from Tamiya. I believe on the newer versions of this truck it came with the ESC verses the old style speed control. Anyone have any input on this and what motors I can run off it ???

OMG Guys sorry bout this!! I guess the reply email notification ant workin' on this one! Or I forgot to check it[X(]. I got My friend coming over tomorrow. Hopefully will get some sweet videos of mine. Make it a movie. I'm so cheap!! I got a Saturn 20t which gets-r-going at a good clip with a druatrax inteli speed 19t. But sad news[]...... My beloved SMC GP 3300 pack Leaked out and dystoyed itself-it looked like Chernobyl. I tryed charging it but when a 7.2 volt pack reads 2.3 volts....It's dead. RIP - Gp3300- 12-25-04--- 12-19-05. On a happier side We got some snow!!!!!!

RE: Tamiya F-150
It's a tamiya rising storm, and right now it's in pieces getting custom treatment to lighten it up. I'm dremeling the heck outta it since most of the plastic on the thing is thick enough to go without some excess plastic. I also made custom rims with a dremel since the stock ones are oldshool. I'm pretty happy with them, they are my first pair made with a 1970's dremel, hopefully for christmas i get a newer version.
