RE: Witch motor????
raceable [but not that competitive] would be the [almost classic] reedy quad mag or the chameleon2. other than these, check the v2 modified series. if you are going to race in the stock class [ask your local track about this], check the greenmachine3, the monster horsepower, and the p2k/p2k2. a series of pinion gears should be handy to alter and experiment gearing. a heatsink also helps [but its no substitute for proper gearing]. get some pairs of brushes. get good battery packs if you don`t already have and a decent charger FOR SURE. personally i would recommend that you should get a brushless system and forget all that stuff about brushes, lathes, etc. 160-200$ for a good novak brushless system/combo [both esc&motor] will cost you less [in the long run] than the brushed path. no flames hare please, its just my 0.02. the good packs and the good charger are anyways needed for either paths, so get them for sure!
