RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C.
Holy F*CK, what a difference. I got an Orion 2700 mAh NiMH battery (I had a 1500 NiCD battery) and an MRC SuperBrain 820 charger and the car screams compared to before. I held the car up and ran the motor forward and the rear tires became narrower and higher, just like in drag racing, sooo cool.
I just have to stop breaking chassis parts. First the front shock tower, then the front pin plate on the bulkhead, now the rear chassis plate, which I have glued using Gorilla Glue and a metal plate underneath.
I think it's time for some aluminum chassis and transmission upgrades.

yeah, I think, Batt is 50% of the power, motor is the othe 50%. you need good batt and good motor to reach top speeds

go with a better batt, 4200 or highter, and it need to be ni-mh, lipos are very expensive and very cool. ni-mh is in the middle of prices, ni-cad is very cheap and cannot handle a low turn motor.

Yeah, I would love to get some aluminum parts, but the price is prohibitive right now, I'm gonna stick to stock, or graphite.
I paid $35 for a 2700 mAh battery and I thought that was high, so I guess I'm leaving LiPo till I win the lottery.
Thanks all for the info and advice

http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/tst...p?sid=1371744#
for like $40.50 i just did it a 6-cell flat pack with Elite 5000 mha cells, deans connector and it's upgraded, thats a steal i'ld get that next time anybody wants to get a better battery...
i have the full graphite upgrade (stock on the pro[8D]) and it's been pretty damn durable but if ever bust anything i'm just gunna get the regular plastic just to compair the two, and cuz it's like $5 more for the graphite arms and like $10 for everything else....

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C.
no problem
i never used mine as i was having glitching issues at the time and i though more metal to metal contact would make it worse. is any one running the metal diff gear. i dont have any problems now that i have my truck properly tuned to save the tranny. but if i set the slipper tight and put rubber tires on the car i can blow the tranny in a heartbeat. but ive had my plastic b2 in there for 3 full 3s 5000hv packs now and only had an issue of one of the wheel nuts coming loose on the rear and i stripped the hex fitting on the rim a bit but i i put it back on and it doesnt spin so i didnt strip the hole just marred it up a bit. i still have the axles that came with the st pro when i bought it but the are a bit bent from all the hard running ive done nothing to really affect performance or cause a vibration but definatly no longer tru. but i cant seem to find this style any where just wondering if the others will hold up as well or if anyone has snapped them?
