Check your motors wires, make sure they are going where they are supposed to be blue/white

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
So i got my 2s 5000mah 30c lipo in yesterday and it is super fast and runs really smooth now so maybe i just needed to run it for a few seconds, and as for the rear tires yea, really bad and unbalanced, but other then that it's a lil lid flipper!! lol it's my first brushless i've been using nitro for years, so the quiet runs are a change.......

land hard on the motor, thats the only thing i can think of i've killed a tranny case from i'm guessing useing my motor as a wheelie bar (didn't work too well not far enuf back) well i'd check your tranny case just to be sure, and your motor may have moved just a hair this used to happen to me all the time, i got some washers like these http://www.boltdepot.com/material.aspx?cc=12&cs=66 just used that as an example a hardware store should have um dirt cheap like $.09 per, and have yet to loose another spur because of that, my past few have been from forgetting to set gear mesh [:@]

MC4798- i've already thought of going to lipo but i have no idea about the tec stuff, voltage, amps, ....
Do you have any suggestion on a lipo batt. that will have long runs a lots of power for cheat that will work with the charger you suggested?
FairTax4me- those energy's been out of stock for a long time...
-Edit-
MC4798- Do you think this one will work with the charger?

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
for an EXT a traxxas 30T for the ruster, steel will work if you give it a little break-in time, or the Al idler for the nitro evader <- should be under the nitro evaders parts list the diff won't work with our evaders...

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
i just replaced the idler gear in my evader ep/st with an idler gear from a ext (because its the one i had/the one the hobby store sold me) :/
the outside measurement and tooth count was perfect, but the opening for the bearings was a little big
re assembled and testing on the bench it seems ok,
should i run it outside or am asking for trouble?

the EXT idler is a tooth too big and i'm surprised you were able to get it to work, i got an ext idler by oppsies once and it didn't work...

The charger would work fine and will charge the battery you looked at also. 3s and mamba you are proably going to need mod the tranny for sure
I got a couple of 5000mah 2s lipo from hobby partz and they run real good and stay cool. But the higher mah are out of stock so you could either wait or get a couple zippy batteries from hk link
For the ones with a buggy the losi red pins are really good race tire

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
weird? after reading your reply lug i put it on the carpet and drove it back and forward a few times...... seems to be working perfect?
honestly i dont know what model i even own
its about 5 years old, evader, i believe its the ep/st and the marking on the idler gear packet sais ext, and the bearing openings were about .5 mm too big (old ones required gentle prying out, new ones were a lil loose), but the new shaft was a good fit with the bearings.
i think i got it all back together the right way?
but it *seems* to be driving well on my living room floor ? (no clicking clunking slipping or weird noises) forward and reverse like new!!! ***??
i guess a session at the skate park tomorrow will be the deciding factor?
ive had it 5 years and never broken anything or done any major repairs (even tho i was pretty hard on it) until i started driving it in the skate park, ...... and let my 8 year old drive it.....
im happy these parts are all only about $4 each
metal gears would be nice, do em once and ****edaboutem

that is weired... because the one i got the idler clearly wouldn't work... i also needed diff bearings... but if it works that'll be interesting, you do have the ST which should have the 29T idler...

i duno, i just held it in my hand and revved it up to full speed, reverse and full speed again a few times, i can get the tires to ballon a little but no weird gearbox issues?
maybe someone put the right gear in the wrong packet?
*but that doesnt explain why he bearings were a lil loose*

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
A quick one......
Seams to need changing my thust bearing for my Evader BX Pro.....
Someone told me that it can be replaced with this one: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...P?I=LXGH05&P=8 and that one will be bulet proof...... Can anybody tell me if it is possible? Anybody here have made this?
Thanks
Daniel
P.S. The only reason why I'm thinking of doing this is because I would need to order from Tower the original Evader thrustbearing set (it would be verry anoing to pay 2 times the price off the part just for shiping, I am in ROMANIA, and wait 2 weeks) and the Tamyia one is in stock at my LHS
Please help.....
