Nah fella dont buy that combo from him.
8t's are very fast, alot more than a noob needs, and need ALOT of maintance. If you do buy it, from 15t pinion, 88t spur.
As for the steering one way on acceleration, that could be a dud servo nto centering, or you diff it so tight not letter the wheels spin at different speeds.

Just wondering if there is a stronger replacement for the gear cover. The stock version is pretty flimsy and breaks easily. I would love to have an RPM version, but I don't think they make one for the Evader. Any other suggestions?

I backed off the diff screw and tried running it back down tight again. It helped with the lose slipper but it still isn't as tight as the other truck. The truck with the lose slipper probably has double the run time as the other one because I was using one for parts for a while.

the only rims that fit the evader made by RPM are are the ones made for losi.. RPM does not make rims for all manufactureres. BUT the ones that fit losi preferably the XXT will fit the evader.

If you put the wheel washer on the inside instead of outside the wheels will not rub the knuckles.

The ones I got are for the Losi... I'm guessing I have to do what Raz said, Thanks again fellas
Now on to a new issue.... I thought I had my slipper adjusted properly but now it makes a kinda click when I accelerate hard or it lands from a jump, also if I turn one of the rear wheels when the truck is off it makes this weird kinda grinding noise [sm=confused.gif] Do I need to readjust my slipper or have I already stripped a gear?
BTW Raz the futaba metal gear works great , it reacts a lot quicker now!!
Thanks for any help guys

Hey newguy.Yeh I just didn't want to leave the nut loose so I turned some new spacers on the lathe last night. The chamfer is not absolutely necessary with the wider spacer. But the wider spacer is ,if you want to tighten the nut all the way like stock wheels and not put the washer on the back.
Everything the guys said will work fine. If this option is not available.
Here is what I have done.
You can see very little chamfer on the wheel. And the 2 bearing spacers to the left of the tire.
The front is the original and the back is the new one.

Yes, you have sadly enough stripped a gear.

My thoughts exactly. get the aluminum idler gear and not strip gears anymore.

Will any Team Associated front wheels fit an Evader ST? I bought some rears and they fit fine. I have a set of Proline Blades that I want to put on by Friday, but my closing hobby shop only has Associated wheels left. Or I could buy the one set of losi fronts which is red and drive a clown car.

Thanks QuailRC, unfortunately making a spacer isn't an option for me, think I'll use the washer trick. I don't have to chamfer if I do that right? Appriciate the help tho Quail
Hopefully it's the idler that is stripped, I have an aluminum one sitting at home that I haven't instaled yet, I'll open it up when I get home from work this morning and see. The joy of third shift [:'(]
Is this stuff good to lube my tranny with:

Yeah sure it will... Sex lube would work, might not be the best but it will work
Haha, just make sure you don't use the Tamiya Ceramic grease in your diff, the great actually metls. You need Tamiya diff grease, it can handle higher temps that the ball diff makes it.
