about the $35 battery pack if you can ever spend close to that again,

http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/tst...p?sid=1371744#
for like $40.50 i just did it a 6-cell flat pack with Elite 5000 mha cells, deans connector and it's upgraded, thats a steal i'ld get that next time anybody wants to get a better battery...

the lug
That $35 is Canadian. I would have to exchange the US dollar and add shipping. Turns out to be very expensive.

Because I can't find a store in the area that carries Evader parts, they need to order them. Order them on Monday, get them on Thursday. That means if I break something on a Wednesday, it's more than a week before I can fix it. So my question is, is there any glue/adhesive that will temporarily fis the plastic that the chassis/chassis parts are made from?

OK, so I see a lot people upgrading ST parts from other Evaders. Which parts fit the ST from other Evaders, or for that matter from other RCs that would make a good upgrade? I know there are posts around about this, but I thought it would be good to see it in one place.

As an example, I want to get the DuraTrax [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSXA9&P=WR]Gear Differential from the EXT[/link] but I do not know if it will fit my ST.

using the ext tranny i think would be a down grade and i think that gear would strip easily as well and by looking and the tranny case on the ext and what parts people have bought with it im gonna guess the answer to your question would be no and u would have to swap out the whole tranny. if that is what u wanted. and lots of losi parts work with the vader as well as associated, and i found traxxas as well but there is alwas a reason to do this. to make it better for your application. as my truck consists of associated diff gear and rings, traxxas axle carriers and hubs on the front, and soon losi shocks as duratrax has a seal issue.

all evader parts are compatble, EXCEPT FOR THE EXT TRANSMISSION CASE, AND IDLER, there may be other exceptions but i'm not sure of them i personally get the B2 diff upgrade

i belive the mount points are the same but the internal ratio's are different the idler is 29t as opposed to 28.. so that moves the idler position.... idk how many teeth the diff has i just counted [8D] and it has 48 buy may counting my not be perfect
so have fun if you don't belive me
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSXB1&P=Z
btw the reg evader has 48 too...

Holy F*CK, what a difference. I got an Orion 2700 mAh NiMH battery (I had a 1500 NiCD battery) and an MRC SuperBrain 820 charger and the car screams compared to before. I held the car up and ran the motor forward and the rear tires became narrower and higher, just like in drag racing, sooo cool.

I just have to stop breaking chassis parts. First the front shock tower, then the front pin plate on the bulkhead, now the rear chassis plate, which I have glued using Gorilla Glue and a metal plate underneath.

I think it's time for some aluminum chassis and transmission upgrades.

I may do that if you promise to tune it and make it rock. I'll give the car and 1 lipo for 2 weeks if you use all your knowledge to tune the thing to the hilt!

do u do most of your running on the street?
if so i would go for the foam tires as they will slip out before they put enough stress on ur tranny to strip it. but actually thinking of getting the metal gear myself. but then that will probaly just cause me to snap driveshafts. but i think it worth it as for as much money i have put into my truck whats 40 someodd dollars when ur truck has 1000.00+ easy into it if u include the batterys and charger, radio stuff i bought for this truck

I'm looking at Lipo batteries...

Can most esc's handle 7.4 or 11.1 V or do you need to match it with the ESC?

What's going to be the advantage of 3S vs 2S?

and for what is the more beffy diff? I think thatr is for the balls holes in the diff to be more stronger. another thing, who have the arrow RC evader metal diff? the evader metal diff is the best upgrade to the tranny or with the b2 diff is enough?
the metal from arrow is a great upgrade but the price ehh thats another thing... the B2 diff handles brushless with no problems... ask the many including my self who has done the upgrade and the allow idler and they will say its great. i have a 43 mph evader and beat the crap out of it... she still going strong.
43 with what battery, esc, and motor?

63 is pretty sweet i got my lipo today and ran it. pretty sweet it fits in the batt tray with the lockdown bar as well. i dont know exactly how fast it is but id say im easily close to 60+. these tires i got are by far the sweetest upgrade ive done as i can actually controll it wide open. and as long as i have enough room to slow down without skidding out no problems. but i have to say it looks pretty funny slideing on the roof for about 100+ feet after flipping over bacwards the first time running the complete setup. glad i got the spectrum and the anttenna is safely underneith the body or would have ground it right off. so as of now im pretty sure i have the fastest evader. i have had the motor up to 160 degrees but it doesnt seem to get any hotter and that was running back and forth wide open about 20+ times so i got my gearing down as well 22 on the pinion and 88 spur.

Which Lipo did you get? What's your esc and motor on that thing?

I'm curious, as I'm upgrading and want to get a feel for what these things can do with different setups.

most can handle 7.4v but may need a low voltage cut off so you don't destroy your cells, 3C is just more powerfull more voltage more speed...
