Default Suggestions on new motors please

Hi.

Would like some suggestions on a upgrade motor for mine and my brothers touring cars.

Today, there is a Duratrax Photon Speed (20T) motor in the Tamiya TT01 cars. We would like more speed and are looking at motors between 16-20 turns.

The ESC today are 18 Turn limit, and 16 turn limit, would like to have some advice in what motor would be the best to use with either the 18 turn limit esc and suggestions what to use in the 16 turn limit esc.

I have hear many talk about the Reedy Quad Mag, and the Chamelion 2. Booth 19 Turns. Would these be the best option for the 18 turn limit esc? Are there any better that can be fittet in the 16 turn esc?

What do you guys recomend us to get?

I would go with one of these too or even the Orion method R motors. Some people don't like them but others love them, lot's of power for the price.

I also recommend the Reedy Quad Mag, from my experience it has a good amount of torque and speed.

I would have to say the Quad mag and chameleon 2. They are good motors.

You could spend more and get a Birdman 19t but it will require more up keep.
