I,ve got the NSX with a 6 cell NI-MH battery set, oversize rear tires, and the rear tires moved to the front. It is WAY faster than stock.

1. How did you move the back tires to the front? there not the same rim size?

2. What did you use for the rear tire to over size them?

I bought some model car tires that I found scouring the local hobby shop. They are 1 5/16" outside diameter and fit tightly on the rear rims. If you wrap about 3 turns of narrow electrical tape around the front rims then put 3 or 4 dots of super glue from the rim to tire it works great. My car is at least twice it's original speed and has more clearance. I'm still looking for softer rear tires, but the ones I bought have about the same traction as the stock ones. It is difficult to control when it gets going full speed. Should work great on hard carpet though.

Johhny Shore,

My DRR cost me 50$ rtr.. How much was your rs4 rtr? 250$?

DRR are selling for 48$ at ehobbies.

My Drr is running
1. HPI micro modified motor
2. 7.2 volt 350 mah battery pack.
3. ALL bearings!
4. Foam tires
5. Titanium rear axle.

THe modifactions cost me a WHOLE 33$ hmm I am at 88$ for a car that IF it cant beat you will give you a hell of a run for your money for a 1/24 vers a 1/18 scale car that ran you 3 times more then mine after modifications..

Dude, CHILL OUT!!!!! ....kevinsreell is my brother! We always talk big at each other. I've got nothing against the Rockets...if I had an extra $48 in the change jar I'd get one myself.

Who goes out and pays $250 for an RS4??? Whoever it was got ripped off. Actually, I only paid $79.95 for the RS4, and $39.99 for the esc...I already had all the radio equipment. I guess I did pay a whopping $30 more than you did...sorry.

Again, I have nothing against ANY r/c cars...heck, I just got a 1/64 car for Christmas at my company party! Those little buggars are cool!!!

Fully proportional steering and electronic speed control. Great value for $50 on e-hobbies. Runs for 30 to 40 minutes on a set of 4 AAA alkalines, but can be made a LOT faster.

Please... Please...Please...

Tell me if the radio is a "pistol type" (like a trigger and a wheel), like the one in this link:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXASX3**&P=0

OR

if its a "2-stick type", just like the one in this link:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXH235**&P=0

Please tell me...

And if you know how fast they are "just outta the box", would be nice...

Thanks A LOT

It is a pistol type radio with changeable crystals, adjustable steering rate and trims, and basically hobby quality. I'd guess it runs about 8 to 10 mph with 4 cells.

I just purchased a modified HPI engine (42T I think), for my DRR. About how much faster will it be, and about how long will the DRR run with the new modified motor...also will I have to use any tricks to install the engine, or will it fit with no problem?
