Alright i`ll try posting something and see what you guys do.

So last week, i was taking my gravel hound of jumps when i broke the pieces the lower arms hold onto, so i went to hobby hobby and bought a new frame and a new motor. 4 hours later when i had put the new motor in and all the parts from the other chassis onto this one, I was tryinh it up and down the street when the mentally challenged kid up the street was walking his dog and let go of the leash. What do you think happened?

a: The dog attacked my car and tore it to bits.

b: The dog attacked me and i hit full throttle by accident and it hit the tires of a parked car on the street and broke the forwars shock tower.

c. It attacked the car and bit through the tires, pulled of the body and pissed on the electronics.

I will tell you all what happened after i get 10 guesses

There's leash-free park near my house where my buddies and I bash at all the time - there's usually 10 - 15 dogs running free with their owners watching them and chatting it up with other owners.

Although the dogs LOVE to chase our cars (and owners love it too - exercise their dogs with no effort on their part!) I have never ONCE seen a dog actually attack any of our vehicles. It's pretty surprising really, I'd figure they would at least try to bite a tire - but of all the times we've been to the park, and of all the dogs we've seen, not one has ever attacked our r/c's.

So my guess will be B!

My buddy (knahs) just got finished building his gravel hound with velociti gtb 6.5

So far he's ran 4 packs through it, and NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM! No gears trashed, the drive shaft didn't twist, or any other scary things people told me would happen if you tried to run brushless in the gravel hound.

He started off with the throttle dialed down to 45 percent max, but after a few practice races against my xxx4 with checkpoint 9T he dialed it right up to 100 percent, and we went at it!

I had to try my hardest to overtake him, and the only reason I was able to was because he's new to the hound. Once he gets a feel for his new setup, i'm sure he'll be a force to be reckoned with!

So far so good with the brushless hound - I'll be sure to post the first thing that breaks though

that's what you get with a slow car if you had a fast one you would not have been caught

I'm not getting at you I have a DF-02 and I know it is slooooowww..... as a standard car if you are running in car parks get a 19t pinion smaller spur and a 15t motor then the dog wont get you!

about the question if it was me ten with my bad luck it would be... C

@Fastlane

I see that you went with the DF03 ALU shocks in the end? I am waiting for 2 sets. One for the DI and the other for the DF02.

Here's my DF-02. It has the Tamiya Dirt Tuned motor, aluminum driveshaft, and Pro-line Dirt Paw tires with some shiny blue chrome rims! Hey C3Racing, if you plan to use a 27t motor, you should buy a 17t pinion gear for the motor. The dirt tuned motor is 27t, and a guy on the gravel hound forum said I should use a 17t pinion gear to lower the gearing, or else I'll fry some electronics. On a better note, the Rising Storm rocks! It can go almost anywhere! Here are some pictures of my Rising Storm:
