Yeah, it is nice.. but I am also a believer of running the car, not saving it on the shelf, so that's great that you run it hard!!

I love the F103GT, but it is a ROCKET, and VERY low...I really don't have anywhere big enough or smooth enough to run it, thus why I am selling/trading mine out. It'll be a roller w/motor and ESC....Needs a diff joing (part number 51233) and a pinion. plus, they just built a new off-road track less than a mile from my house, so I want to pick off-road back up.

Yea, that PIAA Porsche looks a little beat, lol...but I agree...Why have it if you're not going to run it?

Nice Dave.. it looks cool.. I just might need to look into that.. looks like the TRF shock is a must have.. and the motor mount.. what else do you think one would need?

I like building kit, so if I were to get one, I will probably get a new one....

The shock and motor mount just about do it, actually.

I'm with you on enjoying building the kit, as well. If I were to actually get a decent trade offer on it, I'd probably spend a whole day disassembling/reassembling what I got in return for the car. I'd rather get the money and put it towards a new kit.

How are those tires that came with the F103GT kit?! I know typically Tamiya kits (road cars at least) came with tires that are fairly weak.. (my TB-02 tires was worn to the cord after a few runs! Same for my F201!)

I've only got about three runs on these...but they've got quite respectable grip, and seem to wear well enough.

wait the TA03 RS is valuable? My friend has one in great condition including an airtronics M7 radio (equivilent of the blazer today), some airtronics RX and servo, no upgrades, but the body and tires are in great condition. His dad bought it when he visited Japan as the hobby is quite big there but he never really used it. How much would that whole set be worth? It has the Porsche 911 GT body on it.

lunchboxer, you box looks a little bent or are you just using a wide angle lense or extreme macro? I love how it looks with the black wheels!

R/C fan:

I've seen NIB TA03R-S kits go for ~400...Seems like average is $200-$250 though.

Yeah, those Brushers were awesome! I did not own one (could not afford one back then!) but I did build one from ground up as I was working for a hobby shop (when I was little.. I was pretty good w/ building kits, so the owner "hired" me to build kit for the store, I didn't get pay, instead, in return, I get to buy stuff at discount.. :P) It was really cool..

So I am looking forward to the F350 High Lift truck.. I won't be the same, but it will be the spiritual successor...

I want a high-lift pretty damned bad. I have found my self almost shaking in anticipation.

I really wish they'd release it w/a Hiluxor 07 Tundra body though...I work at a Toyota dealer, so I could bring it in to show it off ^_~

LOL, a Tundra body would be nice! But since US is the biggest market for Tamiya, you know a truck is going to be either a Chevy or a Ford! :P

Seen sales figures on Tundras lately? ^_~

Really though, my next venture is going to be a stadium truck. I really wish Tamiya made one worth buying to race, heheh...

It would be interesting to see the new Tundra.. when it is finally a full size pickup.. it should really give the American pickups something to worry about!

I think the Big T is going to that direction (with more racy offerings).. the new Dark Impact (4WD) is a much more racy platform.. and the upcoming Sand Viper (2WD) is the same way... (big shocks, long travel, long suspension arms, etc.) So hopefully they will follow up with stadium trucks!!

I don't think US is the biggest market for Tamiyas. At one point 80% of all Tamiya products were sold in Japan domestic market. I can't
imagine the market shares for the US has grown by that much.
