yeah, well, a 10 turn doesnt have much torque but a mamba max does. right? but i will have to do some weighing and get it centered. i already have proline paddle tires and ribbed fronts so i just need the mamba max. will be ordering as soon as i get paid at the end of july or so.[:@] too long a wait.

i tried it with a ten turn once and the car sunk. i though it would work like my sled but i was wrong. make sure u situate your wieght to the back and use wide flat front skis. make it so rear heavy it can't even get going without flipping. i would also advise paddles that aren't very tall. you can controll your speed better with a tall lug but have more chance of sinking. use the new prolines. has anybody tried water skipping with an rc sled?

RE: Who has the Mamba Max?
well now that i have the system, i am giong to try to clean up my wires. i basically just slapped my truck back together and taped the esc in and wrapped the rx and on/off wires around so i could run. i am going to go in and shorten wires and make it a permenant home today. I am also going to install my eagletree system to track performance. i plan to run with that and then verify it againest the gps to make sure it is accurate. once that is done...is there anything more nerdy than having a rc vehicle with 2 usb cables connecting it to the computer??

RE: Who has the Mamba Max?
eagletree is a data collection system. the system can then be connected to the computer and i can see tons of data that was collected during the run. the esc can be connected to the computer and programmed. sobasically the esc and the data collection system can be connected via a usb port and programmed, adjusted, etc...

RE: Who has the Mamba Max?
I wish you could program it with a Pocket PC instead of a home computer. Id buy one in a heartbeat as my Toshiba E405 is 10x easier to lug around then even a laptop, if they made it work on the Palm OS I could run it off my phone.....now THAT would be cool.
