That's what I like to see! Building pics.. hee hee!

Have fun!!
All I managed in todays alotted time was installing the option parts from RC4WD that you recommended minus the screws.

The first two pictures is before the option parts were installed.

You can also see the Integy parts there in the last picture. Notice the plate is VERY thin.
Time for an upgrade, mine just got backordered on tower, the front and rear skid and servo guard(65.99 or something like that)
Cheap upgrade for TXT!! Could not find the lightweight chassis though, EH? Who needs that anyhow, 135 bucks for metal....lol

Integy gearbox guards are finally fitted, but they seem incomplete? Any thoughts?

The million dollar question is: Where does those spacers in pic 3 and 4 go?

In the 5th pic is an option for the trunk. Good English eh?

That skid looks pretty cool, but wish it is thicker, though!!

I think those left over things are to be mounted if you are going to run straight shocks... (I guess I don't know why I put them on to begin with, since I am using the canti, ha!)

Here's a pic of my Tamiya version for comparison:

The Integy axle holders can probably work w/ the NewERA skids... the holes probably line up okay!

It should hold up pretty good. I ordered the same parts, so....looks great.
Not gonna be rock crawling, so having the servo exposed like that is no big deal to me.
Plan on making it fast and tangoing with the nitro monster trucks at the track ...lol
Just for fun.

Wonder if Jumbo Kongs would look right on a TXT-1, probably not, how would you turn the big rig, then ID need a 144 oz JR servo.

the jumbo kongs way too big. i was lookin at a pair at my LHS they were marked down to 9 bucks and i was thinking of it but they just don't fit the txt..

The TXTs tires are wide and aggressive.. but the kong tires are just too flat on the sides... They look like donuts.[&:]

always wanted to put some big joes on my txt... I have some 40 series on my emaxx and revo and those big joes look like a good fit for the TXT. those threads mean serious offroad business

novak super rooster.it's good for 12volts,i'll be upgrading to the evx2 when my emaxx goes brushless.the nicest part of my txt u can't see ,the diff. cases are mach. alum. by g.h. ,discontinued now&and were hard to get.i'm useing revo driveshafts ,droped alot of rotational mass with this setup.i've also been working on a lightweight emaxx trans for this truck.i used kyosho 7.5 ball links all the way around this gave me an 1/4 wheelbase increese,i'll never be done with truck.ha!

I agree, I had those on my E-maxx just couldn't handle the weight those tires had.
Big Joes look better in my opinon.

Very nice!

When you go high voltage, though, you probably won't want to run the dual 17T, right?! Those motors will not take the voltage too well... ?!

Aluminum axle case?! Or the diff case? (the diff unit inside the axle..)

Keep us posted with your progress on the truck! Maybe post some pics of the hop-ups / custom works if you got a chance!!

Speed Gems motors wont do well in a txt, they are for stadium trucks and buggies, TXT is too heavy and needs power combined with speed.
Speed Gems motors just have speed.
