which novak system is it? I would probably be interested in either one of them.

i am waiting to see if i win the tc3 or the stampede (or both) and then will make a final decision. i kinda expect to loose the tc3 cuz i didnt bid much.
i am not sure if i would rather have the power or the ease in the pede, but i am wanting to put a new system in my offroad t4.

the wife is going to kill me. besides getting the truck, i just ordered the rpm bearing upgrade, all the hinge pin upgrades, rpm gear cover, rpm bumper...
i really want the flm aluminum braces, but those will have to wait.

i was bidding on one that was a 6 day auction...i then saw this one today that was just listed, so i jumped on it and since it was the new version and was cheap...i went ahead and bought it, now i just need to be outbid on the other auction. if i win it, i will end up parting out the trucks and keeping what i need and hopefully break even.

RE: Sleepy's Stampede....(maybe)
boys,i have to admit, i am gettin pretty pumped about getting the pede. i see several things i want to do to it and its nice to have one rc that i can tweak on that i dont worry about weight or extremely performance.
i know i want to slam the body down cuz i dont like it riding so high. i then want to take aluminum tube and do step rails and a nice tube front and rear bumper and maybe some lights on a roll bar all coupled to a more classic looking 'redneck' body. after i run the stock setup for a while, i will be putting brushless in it and changing the servo. whn i change all that stuff, i will put in the idler and the rpm bearing conversion and hinge pin changes. its gona be fun, i might have to take it down the road to this place where they are doing construction for some good ole bashin...

RE: Sleepy's Stampede....(maybe)
The only problem I've had with my Pede is that it is 2WD. I go to the Oceano Dunes a lot, and the Pede just spins out, and I try to climb an impossible hill by one of my friend's home and the Pede just flips over. The Pede has taken a backseat to the Savage, which glides across the dunes, and, well, it doesn't make it up the hill, but it doesn't flip over either.

RE: Sleepy's Stampede....(maybe)
the truck should be waiting for me when i get home today. i will have to wait a little while for a battery to charge up and then off i go to do some bashing ( as long as transmitter has batteries...). after the bash session (or maybe before) i think i will pull some dimensions so i can go ahead and design a new chassis and see if possible to put a t4 tranny in this thing.
