Default Overgeared, or undergeared?

I just finished running my T4, and when I checked the temp. of the motor and battery, the battery was at 134 degrees, and the motor was over 188 degrees.

I'm running a Team Orion Revolution 11x2 motor geared at 18 or 19/87, and I'm running pro-line hole shot tires.

I know I am running more for speed, but I am way over or under geared. I'm just not sure which. Should I drop a few teeth on the pinion, or add a few?

sounds like perfection to me. Maybe drop 1 tooth.

I would think a 15t or 16t might be better with that motor

Yea your a little high theirt bro.Drop to liek a 16-17......

Even though I run my mods in thr 170 -180 range ....It kills me to do so.

You want to be around 160.

I just dropped to A 15 tooth pinion. I'll check temps, and if they are good with the 15, i'll go up to a 17.(don't have a 16).
