well the servo has 120 oz of torque, or something close, it is also really fast, and digital. meets all my requirements.

i went tot he track last night, the servo arm could def be shorter, and i think i will set tht up this weekend. it almost interferes with the body, but i just needed to move some wires around and it all worked fine all night at the track.

Nice.. I'd definitely run the arm as short as possible (or rather, the shortest so the link is parallel to the chassis / ground)..

Show some action shots when you get a chance!!

Does anyone have or is anyone planning on getting a DF-03 RA? I think I'm gonna give up on the TB-02 rally and just get one of those. Not sure about the cheapest place to get one. rcmart has them for $170 and that includes an ESC.

I think the RA is an interesting way to go about making a rally car. It is mechanically more capable compare to the touring car based platform, but I think to me, a rally car should have the dust shield and the driver figure (just one man's opinion, of course!) like the TB-01 rally setup.

Would be interested to see a DF-03 RA, though!!

Usually the best price is Tower and use their coupon (esp. if you are a Super Saver member) as the shipping from oversea is usually pretty high unless you don't mind waiting for a month or 2.. !

Good luck!

I found this
http://translate.google.com/translat...hamp%26hl%3Den
It's alot cheaper, not sure about shipping. People said they got a lot of hop-ups too from that site, but I can't find where they are...

The price is good, I haven't looked at shipping yet but someone said it would come out to well under $200 with shipping. Do you know where to find the option parts?

Many of the DF-03 parts will work with it.. so you have a pretty big part support system there..

You can get stuff from RC Champ (since you are ordering from them, might as well.. they probably only carry Tamiya hop-ups).. there's the rcMart, rcStation, etc. Tower, too, of course.. eBay..

Grrr... It won't translate enough of the RC Champ website to make an account to order or check shipping...

hello
anyone have noticed that the front wheels have a lot of slop when you give full throtle, i mean that they move a lot going full throtle, if i put a nice alu hex will be better, or put some washers? and if i tight the nut of the wheel hard the wheels dos spin free and makes the car real hard to drive.
Im also interested of a hard spring set. mines shocks are the aluminum ones of the df03ms, but i dont know wich one will fit right cause i cant find some tamiyas for those.
Thanks for all and sorry about the rain of questions

they are made from delrin, and are VERY strong, and very nicely made. also have a lifetime guarantee, you break it? take a pic, email the owner, and he will send a new one for free.

Nice.. thanks for the info! Let us know once you test it out at the track.. see if you will find the bumper digging into the ground when landing nose first...

Would be good for bashing for sure, though!!

Thanks lunchboxer for the link, but i think that these springs are too slim, my shocks are the same as the mjderstine ones they are stock in the df03 ms and they are too soft for me.
mjderstine are you using the stock spreings on your shocks? do you know where i can buy some springs?
Another question. i think some people here are using spur gears fros associated t4, im right? i will only need the sleeper pads and the spur gear or will need anything else?

THANKSS
