depends what your definition of fast is. the impreza has a novak 5800 and its fast. and the skyline has a novak 4300 and is no slouch either. the impreza smokes the skyline easy though. that 5800 motor is a beast.

Whats up NYC? Bxpitbull (now bxpitbull4) is back! Getting ready to blow the dust of the chargers, get a belt car and have at it. Pondering an Xray or Cyclone. Whichever the case, where the racing at? I dont want to go out to southshore (heard they closed) because those dudes are a bunch of arrogant tools. What else is good in the city?

It's a large oval track in queens primarily for bikes but many people show up with rc's , there is also a huge grassy area for offroading and a giant field where allot of people come and run rc planes and helis , theres actually a few pics of the oval if you scroll up the page.

RE: nyc racers thread
I remember the good old b4 days , I use to race mine at long island raceway , since then iv been through so many cars and trucks. I barely have the time to run anymore. I just picked up the new Mugen mbx6 Eco , I have been putting every hop up I can on it. I figure if I wanna run onroad I'll throw some onroad tires on it and lower it and if I wanna run off road I'll just throw some off road tires on it. The car handles so amazing that i can run it anywhere. Just sold my slash 4x4 dedicated basher and my savage flux so I needed one all purpose car. If anyone would like I have a new in box 1/8 ofNa gtp2e onroad car with a new Ipanema warrior body I'd sell local.

haha yeah man! yolu should get yourself a new buggy then BTW my B4.1 came in the mail! I will post up photos soon. I must admit the RTR body looks pretty sick. the stock shock settings seem like they will work great except i would not take HUGE jumps because the rear shocks are slightly soft but i fixed the ride height with some spacers. Cant wait to have my first ride since a long time. Btw i ordered the DTX 5000 7.2v battery pack with it so I will be running that for now on my mamba 7700

RE: nyc racers thread
I wouldn't get a b4 anymore , those were the old days for me , they are to small for me now and are really best for racing on a small off road track. I did just buy a new buggy , I got the Mugen mbx6 Eco 1/8 scale electric buggy , I'm running it with a mamba monster setup , neu motor and 4s-6s lipos. I want to be able to race once in awhile and bash mostly and the b4's are to small for that and break easily with what I want to do with them. They are great 1/10 scale buggies though , I once threw a mamba max esc in mine with a 5700kv motor and 3s lipo and it screamed. It was very fast. But if you want traction and toughness you really need a 8th scale four wheel drive buggy. Oh and I'd upgrade to some good batteries for your b4.1 the dtx isn't so great you should grab some 2s lipos and maybe 3s when you want some speed runs.
