Losi is in trouble...
Look at these pics of the JRX-R
I see LRP on that ESC and it's been there since planning because it's in the cad drawings

I wonder if those 3 fans are included?

RE: Losi is in trouble...
hmm that's the same ESC...
It has to be a prototype because I can't find it at all on associated website.
Maybe it's a QC3 in disguise under a heatsink

Keep in mind that LRP is a German company - Associated imports and distributes their speed controls in the US but that doesn't mean that they own them. In fact LRP sponsors an HPI racing series in Europe and their LRP factory team driver (Roald Volker) used a Hot Bodies Cyclone when he won the German touring car championships in June so they definitely aren;t tied to any one manufacturer.

RE: Losi is in trouble...
Maybe there was a deal made with AE to start using their speed controls. With the wildy popular LST2 and losi's buggies, a sell like that would have been a monumental shocker. Not to mention, with team associated releasing (somewhere in this lifetime) their belted car, it would be counterproductive, with losi just releasing the JRXS-R.

Last time I checked Losi though it seemed like there were a lot of job openings. I just checked the site, I didnt know the 8eight came with a DX2!
