its fine to start with, but any rtr will always require electronics upgrades. the t4 is a great truck, but for a little more i would sell you my t4 with a brushless in it.

about 23 mph, but the motor that comes with it isn't that good. With a brushless system, like the one sleepy offered, the truck can reach upper 40's

I'm not sure i'd bash with the t4. I race mine at a local track and need to replace A arms often, granted im not the best driver. The truck is built more for racing than bashing, its low to the ground and made with lightweight parts. I'd replace the stock moter with a trinity monster or so, but you don't need brushless to have fun.

i love the T4... used to race only Losi but the T4 has been doing well for me. got a good deal on it so i didn't pass it up and now very glad i got it.

Ive been racing it with great success.. knock on wood i have not broken 1 thing yet... but i did swap out the electronics already. the stock electronics are OK but not great thats for sure...

i wouldn't get it exclusively for bashing though....

I have one that I origionaly bought for racing... Thought it would be cool to have a "race truck" in the house. Well, it turns out, I'm not much for racing. So the t4 sits on the shelf and is only used when my stampede breaks or a friend comes over. It's a great truck but for bashing it just doesn't compare to the rustler or stampede. I have only broken it once, and that was running into the curb at full speed. The truck seems durable, but it's just not a basher, I don't know how to explain it...
If your a basher, the truck is not a good one. If your into racing and plan on doing some upgrades, it's a great truck. As I said before, just not my style[&o]
