OMG, I want to cry now. So beautiful.

Bombers, does that Atomik body fit perfectly?

FModular, such a sweet sheel that I would never want to use it; belongs on a wall.

YOu guys make me want to spend money on my Pede but don't have any; boo hoo.

I don't like you guys because you guys have nice shiny Pedes; "I want one mommy."

Mom: "YOu can't have one, we don't have any money."

Me: "please.

Mom: "haha. No."

Me: "Man, this sucks."

Mom: "What did you say?"

Me: "Nothing. I love you."

Mom: "I thought so."

Here's a few of pics of my newest pede with dr pepper bottle esc. guard (works great!!!) and modified stock pede tires. By cutting out the extra tread the stock tires get serious grip!!! Slinging a two foot rooster tail with the stock motor, esc. and a 3600mah battery. The best mod is the 1/18th scale nylint body, with minor mods. it fits great! Also it has full bearings and posi track rear end!! "silly putty" works great for locking the diff.

3 nights ago I put my nylint body on my stampede to see what it looked like!!

That's insane that we think alike!!

And the camera date is pretty funny to see an XL5 in 2004.

Nice air, what battery are you using? Personally i'm done with brushless, i've had it in all of my heli's and planes, when I sold them I sold the need for brushless. I use to race with a associated t1 quite a few years ago and all we used were brushed motors, LOL I still have my lathe from then! I can make any of my pedes spin the rim with any glue using a brushed motor. When you've been in the game as long as I have new gets old!! I considered putting brushless in one of my pedes, how much to set it up?

I was using a gp3300 with deans for those pics. You asked how much to set up a pede to run brushless? I have no idea how much I have in my pede. I'd say absolute necessities for brushless would be rpm bearing carriers and bearings, aluminum idler gear, good batteries, a good fm radio, and thats about it. So if you went out and bought a stock pede (150$ for old version, although you can find used rollers on ebay for ~50-70), rpm carriers and bearings ($30), aluminum idler ($10), good batteries (~$40-$60 each), the motor which for me is the mamba max 5700 ($180 from b-p-p.com), and a good fm radio (I have Futaba 3PM $150). And other things I have upgraded or modded are: wide pede ($50), hardened steel output yokes ($20), aluminum shock caps ($16), ProLine Moabs ($40), another chassis to extend the pede ($10), Kimborough Servo Saver ($6), Lexan for various things (esc mount, receiver mount, etc...$2) so I have alot into it but to get started with brushless you need around $500.

That ain't to bad, i've had as much as $5,000.00 in one heli. I'm going to either try a brushless pede or mod one into 4 wheel drive just to have something to do! The money is not an issue its the "what do I want to do" problem! There opening a new nitro track here and i'm also considering a nitro stampede. We lost 4 nitro rustler's, 2 onroad mugen's, 1 comp. ofna 1/8th scale, 1/4 scale piper cub, the list just goes on. So i'm rebuilding the empire of dirt with different toys. Thought about a t-max but there just too big and bulky. Got any suggestions?

I wish i did ! I don't run nitro, to tell you the truth my modded pede is the only "hobby grade" r/c I have or have had for that matter. You really can't go wrong with a brushless pede, they're cheap and can be tons of fun. If you are going to make it 4x4 that isn't an issue either, I have found a couple of writeups on it that explain how to do it very well. Although for your nitro track issue, I heard revos are very competent race trucks.
