Got Bored: Titan 550 + TL-01
Got bored today with my pede busted and the LHS out of parts, so I decided to frankenstein the XL-5 ESC and Titan 550 onto my TL-01 to see how it ran.
With speed tuned gears and a 23t pinion the 550 ran about the same, maybe a little slower than my Venom Fireball 19T does. Also noticed there's quite a bit more drag brake on the 550 than the Venom motor, from full speed it will roll to a complete stop without me braking in about 4-5 feet.
Anyways, pics of course, are attached.

Yep, drive train was fine, I put my Fireball back in it afterwards and it ran normally.
I also messed around and put the 2.8" talons on the rear of the TL-01, looked like a freaking drag car. I ruined one of my venom 19t's though, the motor got so hot it melted the solder holding the wires to the motor! ESC and chassis appear to be fine though, and I have another motor, so not all is lost
