I knew they'd been around a LONG while. I think they started making 1/8th scale street RC cars in the mid to late '60's.

Her is my addition to the RC10 homage. I bought it when I was in college and raced it stock a few times before the track closed. I still have all the stock parts except the resistor speed control and the gold chassis is still hiding somewhere I hope. Stock body is still in one piece too. Moved many times since then so who knows. But overall its a great car and almost indestructible IMO. The specs of the car are in my profile but for a snapshot:

Graphite chassis
Bellcrank upgrades
Andy's rear a arms
Tekin pro esc
novak rec
Reedy modified motor
Rear wing upgraded (not in pic)

Hello again guys. I wanted to thank you all, especially you Barber420 for the kind words of my cousin's passing.

I haven't gotten very far since my last post, but I have made a little progress. I pulled off the front and rear wheels/tires and sanded off all the old chipped up blue paint that was on them. But I haven't re-painted them yet, there sitting in primer form at the moment. I want to find just the right shade of orange to airbrush them with, as that was his original color choice when he built it. Still no motor, but I'm going with the link the first person posted to me. I have found several bodies with wings on Ebay, so I might end up there, or Tower.

I want to get up some pictures here very soon, of what it looks like now, and pictures as I go through the restoration. I will do this soon. Again, thanks to everyone, and keep checking back here as I will be posting progress.

Nah, got too many other projects going on to spend money on BL when it's not something I absolutely need. Over the past six months or so I've more than doubled my inventory of RC's and almost all of them were vintage, and basket cases that needed a lot of help. Right now I think I have 13 or 14 cars, but only about four of them are in running condition! I'll definitely let you guys know what's up though, whenever I have the money to go BL in an RC10 with the six gear. I'll probably just go for the Novak Havoc system. I figure 8.5T motor and ESC for $140 should be right up my alley as far as power and quality for value go.[8D] Currently I'm finishing up an RC18T project. Got it for a killer deal, but I proceeded to break the carbon fibre chassis the first day I had it and that required me to buy about $120 in aluminium parts for it. I should have it all together and tearing ***** by tomorrow though. Then, it's onto another project, but I'm not sure what yet.[&:]

Green, I have a half Boxer half German Shepard. His body, muscle structure, and coat, is that of a Boxer, but his head and face are a mix of both. His color is mostly wheaten red but his face, is hard to explain. A black mask, and then some wheaten, and it looks like he's wearing thick eyeliner that kinda goes off to the sides of his head like an egyptian. LOL I'll have to post pics.

He's almost 2 now. Was very hard to deal with the first year and few months. Ate a couple couches, the carpet, the walls. Wouldn't touch the garbage can, shoes or clothes though for some reason. Only things that that cost a lot of money he'd ruin. Glad I didn't kill him now though. He's so affectionate, loving and puts his whole heart into anything he does. He loves water, and can't help himself to chase anything you throw for him. And he doesn't run so much as he pounces like yours in the picture. He's super fast, and loves to jump as high as he can for things. I don't know if these are traits for a boxer, as he's the first I've owned. I've grown up around nothing but German Shepards my whole life, and while they are great dogs, this one acts different than any pure shepard I've had. So this was a unique change. Saw your picture and it just reminded me of him, as he lays here next to my computer chair, so thank you.

The lucky guy payed 933.00+ US dollars for it. That's alot of money for a goldpan rc10, I had no idea they went that high.[X(]
It must be pretty rare, never heard of that company that made the rims.

just picked up a 1992 Rc10 truck last weeks for $100 with radio, 10 tires, 8 rims, charger, 6 batteries and big bag of gears and spare parts. This is my first Rc truck and so far it is awesome..........the guy that had it before me didnt know how to solider to save his life so everything had wire nuts on it, so i went through and re-wired everything, cleaned the motor and slapped some new gears on it. It runs amazing, i love this truck. Im going to get some new tires and a couple of small upgrades next week i will post some pics soon. I plan to make it brushless after i get some experience and save up the cash. they really knew what they were doing back then this thing is sweet. i was going to get a traxxas and i am so glad i got the RC10.

just to see if the gears are stripping and to check on the bearings. if it has bushing you might want to get bearings.

checked out the gear box everything looks great in there it has bearings and everything moves very well...........put new axles on and put new bearings and tires on it and it is doing even better...........cant wait for the brushless, still saving for it.
