Need Urgent help have 1 hr will this work
hey can you tell me is the esc will work with a size 540 motor?

as long as it is 18 turn or higher 540 will be fine. If for stock motor it is 27 turn so it will be good. It is a great ESC. I have a few of them.

ok just wanted to know now I want to upgrade my motor i want to do about 50 mph can I use this speed control if i want to go that fast i mean what are my possible choices of motors if i dont want to go brushless i want to stay with brush but i want to go 50 mph. i have two battery packs one of them is 2000 mah is that good i cant remember what the next is.

Not real sure on what motor would get you there but this esc wont handle it. I would guess something 10 turn or under for 50 mph in brushed setup. I have a 21 turn in my T-Spec and I would guess it to go about 30-35 mph. You might get 35-40 mph out of 18 or 19 turn motor but that would be pushing it. Also consdier the up keep of mod motor. You might be better off saving for a mamba max setup. Since you trying for 50 mph.

when you say up keep right do you mean like how do i say it as i would have to put it on a lathe machine or like what exactly do you mean by upkeep All I know is I want to stay brushed and I want to go 50 mph.

yes com lathe and brushes not required with brushless. I guess that motor would get you 40+ maybe 50. and for ESC i would find one with no motor limit. By the time you figure the cost of motor lathe, motor, capable ESC, Brushes, power supply for motor lathe, and descent batteries. A mamba max would be way cheaper. As far as the 2000 mah batteries they should be replaced with 3300's at minimum. But I would recomend 4200's for 10 turn brushed setup.

yep what about 50 mph with a 8 t motor and a 5000 mah battery pack? lolz I will be the crazy one to do that.

The 12t is the number of times the wire is wrapped around the armature. the lower the number the faster the motor is. 12 turn is faster than 20 turn. they can also be single , double or triple wrapped. meaning instead of one lager diameter wire wraped x number of times. multiple smaller diameter wires are wrapped. this change the field effect on the magnets and changes the way the motor pulls.

this is just a project now not in that much of a hurry will wait on ebay until i see a good deal on a good esc and save up to buy it i am gonna have like 50 to spend on a esc then buy the motor in my previous post.

I am going to take my time and buy the right stuff also has anybody else ever done this with this car or with this car when it comes if i put a 18 t motor can i race a rcgt10 with a picco .12
