RE: Tex's Wild Willy Restoration Project
ORIGINAL: dickster
I just picked up a near mint WW1 (a friend of mine was going to throw it out! pics to follow) and I need a couple of parts. Anyone got any idea where I can source a rear body mounting post? One is missing. The original 25 year old battery still holds a charge!

Thanks. No, it wasn't! My friend was only into building them and so it became a shelf queen - the tyres still have that talcum powder look to them. If I can get the radio working, I'm reluctant to let my 5 year old son use it!

BUMP old thread
Okay I have pulled my old WW1 M38 out of storage after TWENTY EIGHT years! I LOVED this thing as a kid, so much so I bought a 2nd after I wore down the 1st but the first was STILL in the box, so good for parts!
Thing is my tires, the tread is still good, but sides are cracked and dry-rotted, not bad but there, can they be salvaged with armorall?
New Tires - I know these 'Blazing Blazer' tires go for a premium, any suggestions?
HELP! I wanna get this thing running
Also, suggestions for grease to use on the gear case when I clean it? Its been SO long since I dabbled in RC Cars
Oh, and found a 7.4V pack with Tamiya connector, but the cells are AA size, will it work?If not
, can someone link a pack that will?
Thanks so much!
