Best Motor for the Dark Impact
These are motors that I have looked at getting for my DI. I would like more top speed then torque. I am open to any suggestions, but the motor would have to be above 15t.

I'd go for the reedy ti world modifyed 15 turn. Its a good motor and i think the sale might still be going on. I got a handwound top magnets the whole 9 yards for $30

I run the Element 19T V2 in my DI with matched GP3300's and works great. I really need to regear it as the DI comes geared for the stock motor

It wouldn't matter, but i would say the team orion revolution v2 19t would be a better choice!, just because team orion has been in the motor game for a long time! and knows what there doing when it comes to motors! and big performance!, so i would go with the team orion element V2 19t

i would use theres brushes, there the enduro version of there v2 brush, for the element v2 19t motor, the enduro brush will last longer between changes then there high performance sprint brush, you probabley wont notice the difference between these two sets of brushes, but the pro racer sure would you might but i doubt it, and the enduro will still give you awesome performance, so you dont need the sprint brush witch only runs 2-6 runs, the enduro brush on the 19T revolution v2 motor will last 30 plus runs no problem!, but i would get it cut 30-35 runs but check it every 5-6 runs jus to make sure the brushes and comm are in good shape!, when they start to ware out sent it to your LHS and get them to cut the comm and do a rebulid like lube up bearings and new brushes, and that might cost 10 12 bucks then get your motor back and do it all over again!

What do you guys think about this motor http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJGX1&P=0 compared to the element. And if I were to get the element motor would I have much of a speed increase from the trinity green machine pro that I am running now.

I have a Team Orion SV2 Formula Pro-BB 15t motor and its awesome. Brushes last pretty long too (haven't had to change mine out yet (had like 14 runs on it on IB4200 and there's plenty of brush left.)

I have too many motors that I would get but I dont know much about them so I dont know what one to pick, but I am leaning toward the element. Anybody have anymore info on them? Thanks.

Go with the epic 19t. lots of torque and good top end. 25,000 rpm. The tower specs are wrong, I would know since I have the motor. Had it for 2 years and its still goin strong. the p-94 brushes have lasted over 30 or 40 runs on my t-4. it also has preinstalled hardwired capacitors.

you could go with the outlaw spec instead of the PRO spec. Its $37. I think the only difference is that it isnt handwound. the p-94 brushes will last alot longer then normal sized ones like I said before.
