Ok thanks for all the input guys. I am going to get the mamba 5700 and some Dirt Hawg II's. Then when I can afford it I will be buying some Elite 4500 7 cell packs off of www.cheapbatterypacks.com

i know that the ss 5800 bl system isnt really comparable to the mm 5700 motor on 6 cells though i am always satisfied with what i can get from my rustler with the ss 5800 in it if that helps at all

A 7700 would be too much for off road use I think (or any cars meant for off road.) My DI runs faster on the road but its not very stable (soft suspension, etc.) Tires struggling for grip never gets boring though...

Yea psy is right. It leans a lot in corners on road at high speeds.
