Sorex Tires
Someone on here suggested these tires. I did a little research about them and from what i read they seem really good. But, what # should i get for my B/L TC-4. I just bash. Parking lot runs. I want to be able to get great launches and slide a bit all at the same time.

RE: Sorex Tires
bashing to me = running on unprepared suraces = chunked foams - i would not run foams where there is a possibility of hitting rocks and debris which will cut or chunk the tires - does not matter whether you are racing or not you still need to know what the temp of the track is to get the right sorex tires for the application.

RE: Sorex Tires
With the #'s on the tires. Is the lower # softer or harder?
I just want to get i set of tires for all 4 wheels. I run my car both at daytime and at night. So the temps of the ground will vary a lot. What # would you recomend me getting? Or should i just stick with steel belted tires? No foams for me.

RE: Sorex Tires
for bashing i use hpi 4495 or 4490 x pattern belted radils or standard radials - for high speed i would use the belted i think they are the 4495...........they work well for all around play - i was using them on the race car and pickup 2 laps when i switched to the sorex 32r for track temps 130-150F.......but for playing around i liked the hpi x pattern.
