I won't believe it until I see pics of people that actually got production ones.

I've heard they shipped the first pre-ordered trucks.
'Eh......

I can't wait to see these racing side by side with the other CORR style trucks.....It might be cool with its straight axle, but i think they will get there ass handed to them!

I've spoken with Darren a few times over the year + that I have been waiting (very impatiently). I dont think anyone knows exactly what he has been going through to get this truck into production. All he wants is the best and that doesnt come over night. I'm pullin for the guy, he's the only one with the nuts to design build and produce a scale CORR truck that is not a commercialized corporate company.

hpiguy,
when I get mine I will post up some pics

Jloc,
Thats the thing, there is not another CORR style. This is the only true scale version of a CORR truck, period. I will agree with you though, the handling charactoristics of the "other" CORR style trucks will be dominant on the track. You never now, we may be pleasantly surprised at how well it handles.

I really hate to say this, but, I agree.....If it is nice enough though, I might have to get one, they look great!

lol, its sitting in my basement.
Busy time of year for me, not sure when I'm going to get a chance to build it. Even though it was supposed to be shipped assembled, its ok.
I'll snap some pics when I get a chance.

CORR,
will do, well at least with the snap shots. I'll try to get some this weekend. I'll go charge my battery now. Not sure when I'll be able to do any running for a little while. I've moved recently and will have to find all my rc stuff in storage, plus my baby is sick.

008,
Huh, thats wierd. Have you been in contact with him through the testing?
Honestly, I would call Darren. I have talked with him quite a bit over the past 2 years. Not for a minute here and there but for 20 to 40 minutes each call.

Damn, that was a quick turnaround.
Thats something Darren should do, make spare parts available for them. Then we wouldnt have to buy a complete kit to provide parts.
I'm in no rush to assemble mine, too busy with my gasser

I sure was not going to spend 385 on another kit just to have spare parts, I can buy 2 SC10's @ that price

I have no plans on buying a seperate kit for extra parts. When I do get to assembling mine, it will more than likely be a shelf queen or light runner.

I wanted one of these years ago... but delays after delays and redos on the design..... made me not want one anymore and the price was insane.

With all the other trucks out there that take a far better beating, I'm glad I didnt waste my money on a thunderjunk.

ps: wassup hndaman [8D]

While I agree the price is a bit on the high side, and lets not mention the delays, I would NOT consider it junk or a waste of money.
It is the only scale 2wd truck on the market and its in kit form.
This whole parts availability issue is just another hurdle TT is going to have to run over to make his model that much more desireable than the other Corporate companies.
One thing I did notice is the Corp Comp, came out with there models after TT introduced his. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this point.

On a side note, hndaman, do you have a thread on your RC10 project? Is this for a new model or an original gold chassis model? Pics?
Thanks
