I said No because I really like it how it is now and sometimes if someone is deciding on a car, truck, or buggy they can just ask in one area and get responses from owners of all three instead of maybe just getting answers from someone that owns just a buggy or something like that but just my opinion.

I said yes but can't really make up my mind because right now i think it's too crowded (too many "official (insert RC car name here) thread" threads) and IMO threads get lost in the big mob but where would people ask questions about gearing and motors and ESC problems and stuff that pertains to buggy's, cars and trucks?
Or maybe have an electric buggy section, electric car section and an electric truck section and another miscellaneous section.

I voted Yes, but perhaps an off-road and on-road is better?

On road trucks? off-road cars? []

I would like it if it was like the MT forums, with a general forum and subsections for onroad and offroad. That way we have can post the stuff that goes for everything like electronics or what should I get threads in general and still have the individuality of on/offroad.

That sounds like a great idea IMO.

I voted no. Because there are a lot of things that all 3 vehicles can share that can be talked about in 1 discussion. Like batteries. Or even motors. The difference in Brushed and B/L motors.

I agree - a general electric section and then on and off road Although I voted no because a wouldn't want 3 seperate forums for cars/buggys/trucks

Maybe a brushess forum? Where people could discuss their conversions etc.

Yes.

Three sections

Onroad
Offroad Buggy Truggy
Truck, Tank

OR

Onroad Racing
Offroad racing
General / Bashing

No need separating Buggy and Truggy. (is that what theyre called, racing trucks)

These forums are so busy now, when someone posts a topic within a day its on the third page and does not get viewed.

I think across the board some topics should be combined and others separated. For instance:
Monster Trucks has a category with sub categories for HPI, Traxxas, Losi, and ECT…But no MGT.
Then we have HPI Racing forum with Sub forums for trucks, cars and off-road…When they have a sub forum already in Monster Trucks for trucks.

Just my two cents…

I voted yes. I think that it should only be cut into on-road and off-road categories, though.
The buggy, truck, car split isn't too bad of a division either.

Electric truggies and nitro rock crawlers!? lol

I think yes, and bring rockcrawlers to the same area because it doesnt get much attention inserted randomly in the forum list.

ok guys i'm a bit confessed, maybe cause i'm new, but what's the diff in st , truggy , and buggy. i know some folks run there st's on-road and i've seen buggies ran on-road. i run mostly off-road or dirt, the only time i run on-road is doing hi-speed passes for fun. i guess i'm wondering whats a truggy? the truggy's i'm know about do rock crawling in out west which are truck cabs and buggy back halfs, i've been out of the fullsize trucks for about 10 years now hense the 4x4. i'm 39 and just got my first rc about 6 weeks ago and it's a rusty xl-5.

thanks for the help,

me

Why electric truggies? There arn't really any and they could go under trucks. Do you mean ST? That would be ok having MT and ST forums. Also there is a crawler forum and I have only seen about 3 nitro crawler threads so I think you could live with that. There is already a tank forum but maybe make a scale forum? That would be nice
