Oh , yes. Almost every RC manufacturer is represented at the annual RC fair. Everything gets sold at discount prices. Example GP4200 six cell side by side for 18 Euro ( 12.50£ ) , rc car bodies 1/10 scale for 8 £ , chargers at 50% discount , entire car kits , lipo's , boats , planes, tools , Hitec's RC RoboNova robots ... everything that involves RC.

The downside is ... you can spend a fortune on a single day buying cheap stuff you normally can't afford but it adds up pretty fast. I have RC buddies that spent more than 1000£ on rc stuff IN ONE SINGLE DAY !! And they still feel like they haven't bought enough hahaha

RC fair Dortmund every year in april.

yes you should do that , it's like RC heaven over there. Just google it on the web en you'll find lots of pictures from the fair. Also , you'll find reports in every European RC magazine this and next month.

hi , iI don't remember the brand of the body but I bought it at my LHS 2 years ago. Those are hard to find though and they don't fit a 1/10 scale as they should ( I had to cut the bumper to fit my XXXSG+ chassis ) And yes it's mine :-)
I'll ask my LHS what brand it is.

Purple, orange and yellow match eachother well .

Hey Luke,

Yes , the S2000 is still one of my favourites. That's my own body that I use myself. Most bodies I do isn't my choice but the client's. I have four more bodies laying around that are waiting to be painted , so this will be continued :-)

Grtz.

Tips for noobs ? Sure , just try it , do not hesitate. I once had to try it for the first time and it wasn't so bad. So far I have done maybe 150 and all of them worked out just fine.

1) start with a cheap Badger single stage airbrush that will cost you about 30$ maybe less , Ebay is filled with good airbrushes
2) wash every body with 100% methanol to remove all grease from fingers , no water , no soap whatsoever , just methanol
3) use water based paint like Faskolor , way better than solvent paints , no mess , no smell , no fumes , easy cleanup , ...
4) Let the paint dry between EVERY coat ( use a hair dryer ) and lay 3 coats per coulor.
5) use parma liquid Fasmask for masking , works like a charm.

6) always , always clean your pistol when you're done painting. I do that with at least 1 fl.oz of water and just spray it thrue the pistol. Between every body I do I take the pistol apart for a good clean ( takes 1 minute to take it apart ) and clean the parts with thinner to remove every bit of dry paint that sticks to the internals. Use pipe clearner sticks for cleaning the internals . Dry Faskolor isn't removable with water unlike most people thinck.

I don't have a lot of buggy boddy pictures apart from those on page one of this thread because buggies aren't that popular around here. I will do a few more buggies in the near future. I have done lots of buggy bodies in the past but I didn't have a digital camera back in those days.

I hope this helps.

Beautiful paint jobs.

Every time I see bodies like this it give me the itch to get back into airbrushing but I've never had good luck with them so I decide not to.

Thanks guys , the touring car will serve in the European Touring Car Championship in France next weekend.

And the buggy is for a friend of Yokomo's Masami Hirosaka , I have to paint six buggies in the same colors. Will include the original picture :
