Yep, so your 12 turn in there (the stock motor) is a 550 size. Most cars run a 540 size so both the motors they listed will work.

FYI
If you run the Mamba 5700 in your Pede I suggest grabbing a 12t pinion and 90t spur if you dont have any. Gear it low and work your way up. Also get a temp gun and keep a eye on your temps. I also have my timing turned down to the lowest setting. The motor and ESC should NOT get above 200 degrees from what I understand. I wouldnt try running the stock gearing for sure.

Just thought I would throw his in, incase you didnt know already! I just setup a 5700 in a Pede not to long ago running 8 IB4200 cells.

I have been running mine 17/86 successfully. Of course that is with 7 cells only. If I went higher voltage I would definitely drop the pinion size.

I bought the 7700 and I think I made a good choice. On a two cell lipo I am running well over 40 mph geared 17/87. The only time my motor got too hot was when I put a 8 cell Nimh pack on. Now I have it geared 14/87 and it keeps cool and has tremendous torque. It runs around 36 mph. In case you didn't see my Pede with the 7700 here's a link to the video... http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...BashingVid.flv

I would start with a low pinion such as a 13 or 14 tooth/87 spur. If that does not give you wheelies then your battery is worthless. Unless of course you are not getting any traction and that could be the cause too.
