do you have a spare radio with servo's?
if so the clodbuster is fun and its about 200$ on tower needs a 7.2 pack 2 servos and a radio

the grasshopper is a fun lil buggy but youll need the 540 upgrade its a tad on the slow side with the 380

cant go wrong with a blackfoot all around basher

at the end its down to what you like.. what catches your eye and fits your pocket

and theres the lunchboxer to chime in !! lol

If you weren't hooked to Tamiya than I would suggest a stampede.

And you can get a 25 coupon on tower anyway...

I'd suggest the Blackfoot or the WW2.

I have the Blackfoot and Pede, and I would say the Blackfoot for durability. Ours has taken a right bashing and never broken. We have are now waiting for a 19t motor to give it some deserved uummmppphhhh!

The Pede is great, but build quality a little disappointing.

I have a similar thread out right now as well. I voted blackfoot, out of the 2. Im sure there are other tamiya kits out there that you would like also.

I have to agree. The Clod is definitely not the fastest truck around, but they're really fun to drive. If you're into creating custom modifications the clod is definitely for you because there are tons of possibilities. (just check out some of the r/c crawling forums)

the problem with the clod is you also need an esc that handles 2 motors and a very strong servo which gets expensive
I have to agree with the stampede comment, dollar for value it seems the best option, they are fully RTR and perform alot better
http://www.greathobbies.com/search/r...TRX&srchcat=CR
granted I do not own one but they seem to be a better option, I plan to get one in the future
I also notice that Great Hobbies it quite expensive I would look at tower hobbies, the exchange rate is really good right now and the fixed $20 shipping to Canada
will be cheaper then Great Hobbies I assume for an entire kit.
Or if you have a LHS check I know mine is cheaper

Um? Since when did Tamiya start making Stampede kits? You did read his request, right?
