Good god, calm down. You said it "very", thats just like saying it looks exactly like a TC. Plus, the drivetrain doesn't look like a TC4 anyway. Screw it. [:@]

It is very similar to the BJ4WE by just looking at those pictures, but there are few differences I see already. First, the shock towers have different cutouts and the front shock tower upper chassis deck mounting holes are higher on the B44 than on the BJ4. Also, the diff cases are different. The B44 looks more blocky whereas the BJ4 is TC3 front diff case. And the spindles on the B44 are plastic and on the BJ4 they are aluminum. That is all I can see right now. I am interested to see what it looks like with the body off, but it seems now more than ever that companies are copying the superior BJ4WE layout: mid engine, saddle pack, dual chassis deck.
It makes me wonder if all these companies would have came up with this if JConcepts didn't come up with it first. At least companies like TTech or Kyosho or Tamiya came up with a similar, yet very different 4WD buggy. Hotbodies D4 was a blatant rip off.

there was actually a european company that didt the center gear drive first....i belive the buggy was called the durango or something. it was tearing up the tracks but they only made like 10 or something like that. it had a very nice layout....looked better than the BJ4, i wonder what happend to them.

It is weird how Team Associated has not updated there website yet. They usually update there website fast every time they are about to make a new product. They also provide specs. and information.

This thing is awesome i can not wait till i get my graduation money next year so i can buy it! tru it is steep but when you compare it to other 4wd buggies out their it is no more then those like the kyosho laxer zx-5 $300, mrc academy sb v2 pro kit $350, tamiya 501x $520 so when you look at it like that you really are getting just as much if not more when you buy the b44 for the same or less price.

It Team Associated, thats how I know they are great.j/k lol Things from AE and Losi are ruling the races. Hey my first car was the RC10 B4 and I still love it no matter how old its getting. Then I got the Tc5 and I still love there quality and smoothness. Heck, I will definitely get this or any other AE product when they come out.

RE: Team Associated B44 4wd buggy
The overall car, what we have been allowed to see, dose resemble elements of the BJ4. But as indicated there are key points that can be seen almost right off and they have been said, so I wont bother. But the facts are that AE has always come out with top line cars. They like Losi and a few others take what is tried and true and tweak it and get a little more out of it. I dont like the sharp front end of the BJ or this AE but that is what they are having to do for some reason. I haveBJ4 and I currently have the TTech10x and am awaiting the 11x. The $350 for the AE is not expensive. The TTech's start at$600. If you compare the AE to other world class cars the 350 is almost a deal. I would like to see more on it. But right now I would get one just because I like 4wd and I have 4 other AE cars so it will come to see family here. Would I race it, I dont know. I really like the way the TTech works with my driving style. Also working on the TTech is light years ahead of any other car, 2 or 4wd, I have ever seen. I am fairly sure that this new AE will be as difficult to work on as the BJ4. That alone would keep me from wanting to race it. But I will get one. Stick some BL in it and build a lipo set up for it. Then see how fast it will go.

RE: Team Associated B44 4wd buggy
sorry for speaking like I have peronally driven the car before, but I have faith in ae that they will make the b44 competitive and handle awesome, but as far asx working on it theat is the one thing I noticed also RURC, so as of right know I have know idea what 4wd to get it is either going to be a kyosho lazer zx-5 or a b44. or if I somehow come across a butt load of money then i will get the tamiya trf501x. Do you have any pictures of your ttech 10x RURC?
