Default Heavy shock springs for 1/10th truck?

Stampede... I have a mamba max in there, and it has severe squatting issues and I feel that the springs are too soft even though I upgraded them with dual rate coils - 3 to 6? But I have a feeling that I actually downgraded the springs... I also upped the oil weight in the shocks.. I believe there are 60's in there now. I can't really find any information about heavier shock springs, on rates, etc. The only thing I really am considering is trinity xxxtra heavy springs??

Yea I'd say try going with these. I assume the Tmaxx and Stampede shocks are the same size. The problem with dual rate springs are that the first part of the springs are soft to absorb smaller bumps. It's probably that part of the spring that is doing most of the squatting under heavy acceleration.

Try looking in your local hardware store.
I went to ACE hardware and put a pair of these on my truck.
It was sagging and bottoming out.

T-Maxx and Pede shocks aren't the same size, or are they?

I use one black trinity spring at each corner of my t-maxx and 50 wt. oil. This stiffened it up a lot. The dark blue ones are even firmer than the black ones I think. There is also light blue ones I can't remember where those fall in the mix, but I think they are also firmer than the stock ones.

My brother uses blue Maxx shocks in the rear of his Rusty and the rear stock springs in the front. It doesnt handle too well but it doesnt bottom out, ever.
