A good motor. I had one in an TL01B.

Performance is somewhere between the SportTuned/DirtTuned and the superstock TZ/RZ. I ran a 19T Pinnion.

For a Buggy I would say go with the TZ. The RZ is about 1000RPM faster, but the TZ has slightly better torque and acceleration. What ESC are you planning to run? If you want to use the Tamiya 101, I would say rather stick to the BZ.

TZ - 26700RPM
RZ - 27600RPM

yes i will be using the tamiya teu 101 esc, iv thought about it and im guna take a punt with the tz, if the esc handles it well then ill be chearing but i am sorta looking into a better esc so if stuffs the esc its not going to be any big loss, and how do i tell if my teu 101 cant handle the motor? will it just get realy hot?
cheers,
mick

I have run a TZ on the 101. While I was waiting for my 302 to arrive. Believe me when I tell you. The diffirence in performance is more than you would expect. Between the 101 and the 302 that is.

The Superstock motors just demand more current than the 101 can supply. But hey... Its your money
