I actually saw this when you posted the first time. And i found at the flea market some bike lights for only $1 and the control panel on the the sytem is only like 2" by 1/4". With my first attempt i think i fried the board by trying to solider a wire to it. Also not sure if you all read the whole post that was on that other fourms. People brought up a intresting point. These bike light systems are made to run on 2 aa or 2aaa batteries. wich is only 3 volts, Giving them 9v wich is 3x more most likly will not work with most lights. So i would say stick with the stock battery unit or go to radio shack and by a 2 aa setup.
