Who cares he still needs one. Once he gets his new motor he'll need to have as much range as possible to get up to top speed.

I have also heard that an antenna that is to long will decrease your range but i have never seen any proof.

Sorry, this is about you.

i have a t4 with a mm5700, when i first got my mm i was using a traxxas radio get up and it was glitching really bad. so i then bought a dx2 and a reciever, braided my wires from my esc to the motor and now have no problem at all. i have heard that most of the 2.4 radios will fix all the glitching cuz the brushless motor and esc noise doesnt bother it. hey though this is my experence may be different for other people, also my brother in law runs the same set up as me and has no problem. you can buy spekys on ebay for pretty cheap.

I think that the glitch busters should help your range as well because before I installed it there were times when I couldn't get more than 5 feet from the radio before it would act up and now it will run as far as I want and more

I originally used it with brushed but upgraded to the new Traxxas brushless system in my T4 and until I added the capacitor it would still act up.

Well, my dad said we had some capacitors in the garage so i made my own, here it is. My idler gear is stripped right now so i couldnt test it, but i did put the throttle trim on so the motor was spinning a little left my radio and wlked with the car till it started glitching, with the capacitor on and off it seemed the same. (both were farther than what i normally get) Maby i need to get the idler to test it out.

Well I think if your just gonna use an off-shelf capacitor maybe you should find out what specs are on the spektrum one. You know make sure its using the same voltage and and capacity. that oughta help you out some.
