Default Pede or Maxx

Trying to decide on what would be better, I am planning on building a truck for some wild speed, and playing around in the yard and street.... I dont plan on doing any crazy jumps or abusing it so Imnot to concerned with dursbility.... Just somthing better overall for my objectives.

go with the pede, with a 7-cell and a 23 pinion gear, it can go "30+ MPH", getthe XL-5 pede, better esc, the sport maxx will cost you alot more to get running... if you want to go 5+ MPH faster then go with the rustler running a 7-cell and a 28 tooth pinion, just my little advice, another tip, spend the money for a HIGH amp battery, 3000... it will equal longer running times...

The pede will come out cheaper than converting a sportmaxx, probably easier to get parts too since converting usually requires some custom parts.

you would have to work out the cost. If the sportmaxx is free still take it, use the tires... if you have the mula to go sportmaxx to elec then do so, if not then go pede route, my 2 cents
