Default What amp to charge on?

I have a Dynamite prophet plus charger for 4-7 cell ni-cd & ni-mh batterys. I dont know what amp to charge my new peak boost 7.2 volt 1600mah ni-mh battery on. the amps on the charger is 4-2-1 amp settings--------Thanks------

try 2 then 4, but keep an eye on your temps

1 amp will give you better battery life but it will take hour and a half to charge. 2 amp should take less than a hour but is a little harder on your battery. 4 amp your battery won’t last very long. One times the capacity is ideal, (1.6 amps) which should take a hour to charge if fully discharged. Hope this helps

Yeah don't charge the small 1600mah battery at 4 amps. You'll kill it real quick. 1-2 amps at most is practical enough.

Cool thanks guys. is this a good battery for a mini-t and whats the mah for the higher the better?
