Default Belt Guards

I hear that the sprint 2 from hpi needs a mod in the gearboxes to allloy debris to get out, has anyone made a belt cover for this? I'm deciding between the tt-01 and sprint 2D and if the sprint had the cover i'd get it because i like the features and want to try belt.

Default RE: Belt Guards

If you're going to be running in unkept parking lots then I suggest going with shaft drive. I have a belt drive car that frequently gets gravel stuck in the belt which resulted in a belt getting gouged once and completely ripped the second time. I've since created a small lexan cover for the rear differential which seems to be working for now. However I'm not sure how the Sprint's rear diff is setup so I'm not sure if a similar setup would work for you.

Here's my TA04 lexan diff cover
