side by side packs don`t fit the stock holders without mods...
3racing straps, or twinforce trays work great and are relatively cheap... 6 or 7cells, side by side...

Ya I know. I really don't like the whole flat chassis design. The savage layout is much better. IMO
Ya the "whole flat chassis design" was to make it easy to get at certain things unlike the e-savage were everything is crammed in one place.

In your opinion. I said this WILL NOT turn into an e-savage and e-maxx war!

Are the front and rear shock towers on the e-savage the same? Because I am looking a speedtech aluminum parts and they only make one shock tower. Thanks.

Does anybody have any experience with any of these parts? I really want to get the skidplates and probably the shock towers becaause of the extra mounting holes. I woul like to get them all but they are kinda pricey.

Listen to me and I do not even have the truck yet. And none of this will be in the near future.

Thanks.

You want aluminum skidplates.[sm=lol.gif] Never buy aluminum skids because not only do they get very scratched up and look like crap they are one of the few parts on most trucks that take the most beatings when jumping resulting in bending. I have to ask... Why are you planning to get all of these upgrades when your not even 100% sure your getting an e-savage? Just curious.[&:]

i wonder why most of the succesfull cars/trucks are flat chassis, maybe becuz it works. the esavvy isnt even HPI's design
the flat chassis works, it proven, and tested.

Amen...
Anyways the E-savage is sorta HPI's design because they are in partnership with Hotbodies.

I think that is a bunch of BS. No offence. If you read the rcu review on the e-savage it was originaly hpi's disign, but at the last minute was released under Hot Bodies name. I do think that a flat chassis is a very good idea in terms of easiness and being able to quickly access any parts, but i would like something different.

I will not be getting any upgrades any time soon. Nor will I be getting them unless I know I will be getting the truck for sure. And by the way you were the one that told me to look at speedtech parts, Takedown.

What other chassis's are there? The flat chassis design was made to make it easy to access parts that would be very hard to get at on a twin verticle chassis truck such as the e-savage.
Yes I told you to look at ST parts but not before you even get the truck.

Let me repeat myself!

I am not buying the parts any time soon I am just looking. Nor will I by them if I am not a 100% sure I am getting the truck.

Did you get it this time.
