Default Brushless Rustler

So does anyone have thoughts on the Rustler VXL? i have a normal rustler and i was going to hop it up but it looks like just getting the brushless rustler rtr would be about as cheap, and far easier... Does anyone have this truck and do you like it?

That would be the cheap way to do it. How good of a steering servo do you suguest for a truck?

You will need 5x11 bearings and bearing carriers. For sure.

I am not a traxxas hater infact i had some of there products.... BUT i am going to say this the vxl system should not be in a rustler why because the rusty is a tank it wont be able to handle that power on any turn any track all your going to do is go straight with that much power... rustler on its own is a great truck very dependable and the vxl system is great also, but compare it like this, the vxl system is like a ferrari motor and the rusty is a suzuki tracker, the tracker is a nimble and dependable little truck but you cannot stuff a ferrari motor in it stock and do anything in it but go straight. just my 2 cents.

not entirely true, yes the rustler isnt like other 2wd trucks, but with all the adjustments that comes standard on the vxl, it can be. out of the box its gor fully adjustable suspension, an well working slipper and a bulletproof tranny. it should be fine if you can set it up correctly
