Default Powering up a charger

how do you get power to a charger, im looking at the checkpoint one, but idk if it uses an outside source for power, and what is a power supply, and where does that get power?

A car battery mostly. A power supply converts 110 volt AC to 12 volts DC.

Yes, in USA it is a wall plug.

im not an electrician, and i never had a charger, lol im not good with voltages, but i think im gonna try to find a charger that plugs directly into the wall socket.
