RE: Official Electric Conversion Thread
Hi,
I want to convert my Kyosho 1/8 buggy to brushless for indoor racing on a small track (75ft straight). What is a good motor, batt, and speed control setup?
My buds want to go with the Novak conversion kit. Are these kits any good, or should I go with something else?
Thanks!

REALLY?!?!?!?!
Check page 38.
And next time use the search button. Either google or here.
And motor/esc?
All of course depends on your budget.
You might want some batteries, too.

I'll stick some pics tomorrow. One is a chain drive from a larger scooter, one is a chain drive from a average sized blue schwinn, and one is a smallerotor from a small razor scooter that is belt drive. It's In pieces right now, so I'll take some picures of all the pieces. I could still put it back together I guess...

RE: Official Electric Conversion Thread
What kind of 1/10 4wd ST is this?
An HPI RS4-MT?
That combo should be good, but might not have as much power as you are looking for.
What's the capacity of your lipo?

i have already read that for this kind of conversion shoulde be better a motor wiyh 5mm´s shaft isntead of the 3.17 of vxl motor, because the 4 wheel drive. is that correct?
i was thinking on the hpi mt2 for conversion!

If you do decide to convert an MT2, you will have to make your own motor mount.
However, you might want to convert a CRT .5
