heck they just made 1/8 conversions easy...should sell like hot money i know i'll be lined up for one
1/8 conversion's are a helluva lot easier than they use to be! You use to have to make your own custom parts in order for certain parts to work. Now they have the motor clamps that directly fit over the motor and attach to the nitro engine slots and they have the custom motor mounts for certain r/c's such as the revo, crt.5... I think that converting nitro to electric is pretty fun. You get to know your r/c that your converting pretty well.

for an emaxx, how do you hook up two 2s on the esc? the esc only shows one connector for 1 battery pack.

Make a Y harness, cut off the stock plug and add two plugs with a jumper, or use one large battery pack.

yeah, i was thinking about the y harness, and i don't like the idea of one large battery pack due to unequal balance.

I emailed castle a couple of days ago and got a reply today, and the guy wasnt like I cant tell you anything.

I asked him about what motors they plan to have and he said a 4,5,and 6s motor. the 1y, 2.5d, and another one but I forgot what it was. There motors are slightly different than the feigaos according to this guy they are 38mm wide and 68mm long. wider and shorter than a feigao(36x72)

If I can get some money together I plan to get the 2.5d for my erevo, and run it on 5s.

I thought all of that was good new and going by the way the guy said it, the motors are all finished we are just waiting on the esc to be fully completed.

Man am I excited for Castle to release the MMM! Ive been dying to get the ESC and now that Ive finally got a lipo/charger setup for my E-warhead everything is ready to go. All I need for it yet is the Ammo 36-88 motor and the MM ESC. I should have it done by around early february if not late january.

The motor is not a genuine Neu Motor. It is a Steve Neu designed motor. It is the only way they could get a quality motor and get the cost down. It is not going to be as high end as a genuine Neu but it will be very good.

Castle said these Neu motors will have a larger front bearing than the normal ones and come with a dust cover end bell and you won't be able to damage the windings with a screw thats to long.

As I understand it the diam of the motor will be 39.6mm. I will double check that though today.

I really think that we need to stop calling these motors NEU motors. They are designed by Steve Neu but not made by Neu Motors in California. Castle contracted Steve Neu to design the motor for them but Steve would not put all his tricks into them since they were not being built by his company, Neu Motors. He dose not want all his design expertise going to other companies. Even Castle calls them 'Neu designed' motors. They have called them this to me personally since long before the iHobby show. This may seem like a small thing but it is important to note this because of the lower price and slightly lower performance of these motors when compaired to genuine Neu Motors.

Yes, I agree. I've heard that the controller will be available without the motor. I certainly hope so. I have genuine Neu motors waiting. If I have to buy it as a combo, there will be some NDMM's (Neu Designed Mamba Motors) available on eBay.
