Does anyone know where i can get an aluminum chassis for the Blackfoot Xtreme? I tried searching the net but everything i found was out dated or they were no longer making them

Any help would be much appreciated

Weird, the only upgrade chassis I can find is Xtreme RC's carbon fiber one. BTW, the Tamiya Wild Dagger, Twin Detonator, Dual Hunter, Mighty Bull and Double Blaze all use the same chassis, so if you find a chassis for one of those, it'll work fine on the BF Xtreme.

Yeah i found that one too, but $130 for the chassis....woooooo no thanks....lol Thats as much as the whole truck...
I tried searching for a chassis under all the names i could think of to no avail

I might end up making something custom, or just leaving it as is.

Hey thanks for the link. The work they do looks great! I think I am just going to stick with the stock chassis or maybe try and make one if i get fancy...lol I just cant justify spending $140+ on a chassis.

Hi all new member here, ive had a slow few days trying to read most of the post from the beginning lol, i have a 1 year old blackfoot extreme which i have been mod-ding and thought i would share a shop with you that i found on ebay the guys ebay name is 'RC Damper' and the shop is called 'Bargain RC&Toys store' link - http://stores.ebay.com/Bargain-RC-TOYS-Store?_rdc=1 - this guy has aluminum front and rear upper and lower arms, front and rear knuckles, shock towers and C-hub Chubs, when u look in the blackfoot section they are all blue but if you look in the wild dagger/twin detonator section you can also get the same pieces in silver (why he doesn't sell them in both sections i do not know) the only problem i found with the mods was the steering became a little loose this is because the bottom hole in the C-hub chub is a larger diameter than the supplied retaining pin but i found if i put the 4x22mm tube from the hotshot/supershot/boomerang they fit snugly together.I also have a couple of questions - what is a good set of shocks to buy for the extreme i have bought 2 different types so far (aluminum pre filled adjustable) and found that the 65mm ones were too short and hard (i do not know what weight the oil is) the next set were too long and raised the extreme up so high when i turned it just rolled over (i am running a brushless motor with 8.4v 7cell) so can anyone advise me on a good set to buy ?, also i previously bought the HPI racing SS monster wheels but the stock wheel axle was too short and i could not tighten the nut suficiantly so is there a longer axle i can buy that will fit ?

I'll have some new pics up soon! Finally found an aluminum chassis for my Blackfoot Xtreme!! I powder coated all of my aluminum parts red in tribute to the original Blackfoot. Also made it 4x4, with a dual brushed setup.

my original is finnished!!!

found a set of mint wheels and the original tyres went on these.. the car wont drive on these because the wheels spin inside them and i dont want to glue them. i have a set of rear wheels with MB tyres glued on for driving.

fitted with metal bearings and a sport tuned motor, everything else is stock. decals are repro because im waiting for the blackfoot 3 body to be avilable as this one is scuffed in places.
