The EVX-2 is rated motor limit for 550 is 12 turn! That means you can put in a pair of Titan 12T for extra top speed. Has anyone tried it?

How do you guys think the emaxx would perform on 2 6000mah 2c max amps lipo packs total of 14.8v as apposed to the 16.8 nimh. It would be 4 times the amps but lose 2 volts.

I know everyone doesnt have the money to go lipo but it is one of the most amazing upgrades I have ever done to my rc collection. I run Max amps 6000mah 2c lipos in my trucks and it is like an entire new setup with only changing the battery, ALot more consistant power, longer lasting, Lighter. And 3c 5000mah pack will make your wildly fast and powerful and not take up much more room than a standard 7.2. (I just dont have two 3c lipos for an emaxx.)

The lipos would perform great in the new E-maxx. I don't think the EVX2 has a lipo cutoff so, you will need one.

Probbibly just got old. They might "wake up" after a few cycles so....
I think you are right. This last time I charged them one went to 1800 and the other 2000. It's getting better. [8D]

This truck is a lot of fun even at only half speed (training mode for my son).

Training mode is always fun because you still have all the torque. They should continue to get better.

They might be good, but they are a no-name brand. You should stick with IB, GP, or EP.

I don't know about hump, but these are made for the e-maxx- http://maxamps.com/products.php?cat=78

Ib, Ep, and Gp are all the names of cells. They are all good. My next one is going to be a Ib.

http://www.boomboombatteries.com/category_s/4.htm -Ib
http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Packs-8-4V-GP3...QQcmdZViewItem -gp

The only ones I have ran are the gp3300's but I hear they are all good.

The hump pack will not work in the E-Maxx you need the lay-down packs, all flat.

I have heard that the new evx2 has a voltage cutoff. Anyone experience this yet?

a good pack can be had for about $40 ea

I've ran those cheaper packs, and the cheap 7 cell is slower than a good 6 cell pack

Those cells are actually pretty descent. My concern would be the construction of the pack and how they attached the 7th cell. My last pack like that had a really cheap connection and it turned bright red right before it melted.
