Default Duratrax Evader BX, OR ST

What are the main deferences between the Evader BX and the Evader St. I am just going to be bashing around the yard and gravel road. Do these vehicles have enough ground clearance to handle the driveway. I think that these are pretty much the same cars just different bodies. Also can you still get the evader pro bx.

Well, I don't own either. But I can tell you the obvious diffrences... Bx is a buggy, St is a stadium truck. They also have diffrent tires. They both will have arround the same ground clearence but the st will have more because of the larger tires. I personally would take the St. You should also check out the EXT, a buget version of the St. It's only $99.99 and it's a great truck!

I don't think towerhobbies stocks the pro anymore, so I'm guessing they are not made anymore..

Which ones would you guys go for BX or ST?

I cant decide between the 2, not looking to bash, just to have fun, i like off-roading, but speed as well...

Which one has more room for better upgrades?

is there a big difference in these?

any input would be helpful as im looking to buy by end of today...

It's just a matter of personal preference. Do you like trucks better or buggies?

BTW "Bashing" and having fun are the same thing. Bashing basically means not racing.

Upgrades are the same through out. The ST has a different front shock tower and servo brace and a few other pieces. The steering knuckles are different. HOWEVER, I put ST knuckles on the front of mine so I could run wider fronts everything else is inerchangable...Here are some pics of myBX with Road Hawgs and a pic with Dirt Hawgs. I am running sidewinder 4600 with 3 cell lipo..

I personally like my ST a lot, but im more of a truck person than buggy. If you ever want to upgrade things like going brushless i would go rustler though. Traxxas has more gear upgrades and extra hop ups.

Tires look like 2.2" Proline Road Hawgs.

Not sure about the wheels though.

Where have you found the Evader EXT for $99.99? I just brought it up on Tower and it's $119.99.
Thanks, Jerry
