Default water-cooled!

im reading rccaraction mag, and i see this electric on road car. i read it is water cooled brushless setup. it looks soo cool. like having a radiator. has a micro waterpump that runs on its own battery. and the brakes are machanical, the esc wires y-off to the brake servo, so it still uses a 2 channel setup.
this baby goes 0-to top speed off 42mph in 2.2seconds!!!! thats about 100 feet in 2 seconds!
they ran it in 96 degree weather for 9 minutes of top speed runs(with no holes in the body) and the motor and speed controler were only 129 degrees.
any down sides? oh, it costs $895!
you can read more about it on the rccaraction web site, just type in water cooled in their search engine

You could built your own cooling system for way cheaper. Only thing you would need to find is the pump, but it has been done before.

I agree, you could prob run the pump off the motor itself, gear it for speed (pump) and make it do it's job that way, sounds interesting, but $895 for a water coller, IDK, sounds a bit expensive[>:]

The $895 price is for the car RTR with the water cooling system, motor, esc and LiPo battery.

I've seen waterpumps for rc boats at online shops. Most likely termed as a bilage pump.

As for manual brakes, you can can run an adjustable v-tail mixer and a Y harness to keep you throttle signal unaltered,

Liquid-cooled is generally overkill for RC, never needed anything over the basic air-cooled or sometimes forced-air.
