I built a 959 in my days... I am glad that I got to work with it!

If Tamiya ever re-re it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I would like to see they re-release the willy's wheeler. If they do re-release it, I think the chassis will be the same one on the wild willy 2. Hopefully they will re-release the willy's wheeler.

Tamiya kind of did..

In 2000, the re-release the Wheeler bodyset that would fit onto the WW-2 chassis.. as well as a list of parts (using whatever's in Tamiya's ctalog) to make it work..

You need to change the front knuckles, front body mount, and wheel / tires (from their Junior series of RCs..)

So yeah, it was re-released.. just not as a whole kit..

My prediction is the Mud Blaster might be next since they already turned up production on that body for the brat, and the chassis for the frog, it seems to be logical to me.

It is just as easy to do Monster Beetle, though.. as Tamiya still makes the Beetle shell.... !!

I see, didn't know that. So I guess it was just a conversion kit for the wild willy 2. Hopefully they will re-release the full kit of it.

No idea... certainly possible.. Tamiya has all the parts to make one... (Frog is re-released, so many of the parts are there already, and the shell is still being made, the driver figure, etc.)

It would be one of the easier one to re-released for sure..

No news on it yet, though...

True. There are so many scalpers out there. I hate it when jerks charge outrageous prices because they know people can't get something anywhere else.[:@] Like when the Nintendo Wii came out and were in short supply. There were people charging $1,000 and more for a system that they paid $250 for.(sorry for the off-topic story, but I felt it necessary to show a point)

I would love to buy a re-release of the Falcon. I bought the original in 1987 and loved it. My brother and i recently dug up all of our cars and parts. My Falcon is still in great shape but will need some repair. I wish i could still buy an original new kit so i can build it with my son. This car brings back so many memories for me.

One of the latest re-releases in December was The Boomerang.
Thats good news for me, now I can get a NIB bodyset cheap for my vintage Boomerang.

Honestly I don't think we will see a Blackfoot re-re, as the series has been continued till today. A Falcon... Why not? But was it really that popular?

My favourite re-release would be The Fox. But I don't think that will happen, as it was kind of rered with the 1/16 Tamtech series.
